Make Your Feature COMPETITON
Yes, we'll ACTUALLY make your film.
Submissions Open May 5th, 2021 and Close August 5th, 2021
What's Needed To Submit:
Required Elements:
- Treatment of your submission project (3 to 5 pages)
- Writing Sample from any project (we recommend at least 5 pages).
OPTIONAL BUT ENCOURAGED:
- Full-Length Draft Screenplay of your submission project (if available)
- Video Submission (could be any combination of project pitch, sample footage, sizzle scene, table read, concept art, mock trailer, filmmaker reel, etc)
- Preliminary Budget (this is just a starting point - but aim for $25,000 or less; bear in mind that many costs such as coordination, insurance, editing, etc. will be provided as in-kind investments)

Filmmakers: If you are selected for a Zoom feedback session with an investor, please be aware that this is an investor-filmmaker relationship. Be prepared to discuss any and all aspects of your film - creative, financial, etc. and potentially receive constructive criticism.
THE SEMI-FINALS Process:
- Held VIRTUALLY over 3 consecutive nights in mid-August 2021 (date TBA)
- Each night, 12 teams will be presenting a 5 minute pitch to the WMM Membership and the Challenge Jury.
- At the end of each semi-finals, 2 finalists will be chosen by the Contest Jury and 1 finalist will be chosen by the WMM Membership voting audience.
The Finals Process:
- The Finals will happen in September during WMMIntl 2021 (dates TBA)
- Finalists will present the vision of their project with ideal cast, crew, locations, etc. they want attached to their project.
- After the pitches the investors will conduct a group Q&A then personally interview each team before making their final decisions. Previous to the finals, WMM & the investors will have the opportunity to meet with each individual or team as well.
- The investors will evaluate each project on the following criteria:
- Originality / Creativity
- Story / Structure
- Characters / Dialogue
- Producibility
- 2-3 runner up projects will be chosen in case one of the winning projects is unable to launch
- All 9 finalists will receive a 6-month ISAConnect Membership and the winning filmmakers will receive a 12-month ISAConnect Membership in addition to all the production resources and $25,000 cash investment!
