- Have a picture lock .MOV with TC window burn in and with synced sound that matches the film project file.
- Have picture and sound media in folder structure used for edit.
- Make XML or AAF from this project
- With Resolve Import media, and set Picture Mov. as offline reference clip.
- Import XML into Resolve, and set up view offline reference mov. so you can go cut to cut and compare the picture lock to the imported time line. Make slip and slide adjustments to picture to match guide film
- Some XML’s need to be converted to work with different systems ie. Premier Pro to FCP needs Send To X. Resolve can be used as a way to convert from on system to another with XML or AAF
