WMM is excited to announce staged readings of new, original, feature-length screenplays gearing up for production. This is great opportunity to read roles that have yet to be cast, and meet indie filmmakers who are in pre-production on a feature film. See the date and character breakdowns below and click here for the Zoom link to watch and give feedback to the filmmakers! No RSVP necessary to watch.
If you would like to hire WMM to produce a staged reading for your feature film, please email us for more information on pricing and scheduling.
SAVING DEATH
By, Vonn Scott Bair
In the science fiction dramedy “Saving Death,” John Bland has to answer that question when he discovers his unique power—the ability to see and interact with Death herself and not die, no matter how many times she tries to kill him. In fact, she’s in danger of dying, not him, for a desperately ill man named Mr. White has figured out how to kill her. Already trapped in San Francisco, Death tries to persuade Bland that her death would become the greatest disaster in world history. Mr. White tries to persuade him that killing Death would make Bland the greatest hero who has ever lived. Bland needs to think it over. To do that, he needs a burrito.
So—if Death asked you to save her life, what would you say?
