COVERAGE

Asking friends and family to read your piece is a cost efficient way to get feedback, but you often have to wait weeks (or months) and it can be challenging to get truly honest, objective notes.  WMM now offers script coverage that will provide you with completely anonymous, un-biased, and industry standard feedback on a practical timeline!  

In this process your script will be submitted anonymously to a professional script reader. In a about a week’s time, you will receive the following:

• A logline and summary of your piece
• Two sets of notes:
  • One set of notes will be made as the reader is reading the piece, not only providing line notes should they be needed, but also giving the writer insight into how an audience member would be interpreting the script.
  • The second set of notes is written after the script is fully read, touching on more broader aspects of the story, including character arches and plot development. 

This is a great way to see your script through the eyes of another, ensuring that the script you’ve written is truly hitting your artistic aim.
