”How I Got Lost Screening October 7-13 At The Downtown Independent”

So, the movie that is the reason WMM exists at all, How I Got Lost, will be screening for a week over the Downtown Independent from October 7-13th to qualify itself for the Spirit Awards.

Tickets are available at Brown Paper Tickets (www.brownpapertickets.com/event/203211). If you guys enter in “wemakemovies” as a discount code when you buy your ticket online you will get your tickets for $7.50 apiece. They will also be available for sale at the Box office.

Written and directed by Joe Leonard, the film follows the journey of two New Yorkers on a road trip running away from their problems after the September 11th attacks. Starring Aaron Stanford and Rosemarie DeWitt, the film won several festivals around the country, and is drawing renewed attention after the recent anniversary of the attacks.

We are also excited to announce that each night will feature a completely different lineup of WMM shorts from our community!

Showtimes: 7PM, Friday, October 7 – Tuesday, October 11 (Shorts package will begin at 7, and the feature will start around 7:30). Wednesday, Oct 12 at 10pm. Thursday, October 13th at 5pm. dWe really recommend you come to the Sunday screening if you can… (it’s Joe’s birthday, and there’s going to be a reception after). We’ll have additional screenings Wednesday night at 10pm after our Kickstarter finals as well as Thursday at 5pm. Don’t go to those. Go to Friday-Tuesday… going to be way more fun.

Really hoping to see some of you guys there, especially if you’ve never seen the film. It’ll probably be your last chance to see it on the big screen. It’s going to be a really fun week.
