Sam was raised by humble Midwestern onion farmers only to abandon the family business to become a purveyor of fine cinema. As a writer, director, and editor, he employs the skills he learned on the onion fields to peel away the layers of character to get to the sweetest, freshest stories.
Sam is an award-winning screenwriter currently prepping a feature script he wrote with Justin P. Miller, entitled “The Shadow & The Sound,” a dramedic (yep) mystery they are planning to make in the coming months.
He is also directing “The Rwanda Blend,” a magical and haunting short film starring Tara Samuel, Rhomeyn Johnson, Michael Dempsey, and Chris Mollica.
